Sunday, Oct. 7, 1:30-3 p.m. EDT (EWTN) "In Concert: Faure Requiem." Conductor Paavo Jarvi leads the Orchestra of Paris in a performance of Gabriel Faure's Requiem (TV-Y -- all children).

Monday, Oct. 8, 9-11 p.m. EDT (PBS) "The Circus." First installment of a two-part "American Experience" presentation tracing the rise and fall of the Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey Circus. The second part airs Tuesday, Oct. 9, 9-11 p.m. EDT (TV-PG -- parental guidance suggested).

Wednesday, Oct. 10, 9-11 p.m. EDT (PBS) "Volatile Earth." Back-to-back episodes of the series "Nova" focusing on Africa's Mount Nyiragongo volcano (TV-PG -- parental guidance suggested).

Friday, Oct. 12, 8-9 p.m. EDT (EWTN) "The Rosary: Spiritual Sword of Our Lady." Father Donald Calloway, a Marian of the Immaculate Conception, reflects on the power of the rosary (TV-Y -- all children).
