    Father Donald L. Allen, MM (Jan. 7) in New York, N.Y. Funeral Mass celebrated Jan. 12 at Our Lady Queen of Apostles Chapel, Maryknoll, N.Y for the Jamaica Plain native who, during 47 years of priestly ministry, served in various assignments of the Maryknoll Fathers and Brothers, in Hong Kong; Bolivia; Peru; Calif.; and New York. Father Allen was buried in New Calvary Cemetery, Mattapan.

    Father Robert G. Pollis (Jan. 16) in Weymouth. Funeral Mass celebrated Jan. 21 at Saint Ann Church, Neponset for the son of the late John and Ann (Daley) Pollis and brother of John, Catumet; and Edward, Milton. During 50 years of active priestly ministry, he served in parish assignments in Somerville; Arlington; Randolph, Middleton; and then at Veterans' Administration Hospitals.. He has been a senior priest since 1997. Father Pollis was buried in New Calvary Cemetery, Mattapan.

Funeral Mass celebrated Jan. 17 at Mount Saint Vincent, Wellesley for the daughter of the late Simon and Margaret (McQuaid) Cavanagh, and sister of Emmett, Anna Murphy and Margaret McAdam, all of Prince Edward Island. During 66 years of religious life, Sister served in congregational assignments in Hamilton, Bermuda; Halifax, Nova Scotia, and locally at Mount Saint Vincent, Wellesley. Sister Mary was buried in Saint Mary Cemetery, Needham.

Funeral Mass celebrated Jan. 19 at Saint Anne Convent Chapel, Marlborough for the daughter of the late Emilien and Rosanna (Saint Martin) Gadoury. During 66 years of religious life, Sister served in congregational assignments in Quebec; Worcester; and locally at Saint John the Evangelist (French), Newton; Pope Saint John XXIII Seminary, Weston; Saint John Seminary, Brighton; Office of Spiritual Development; Permanent Diaconate Formation; Office for Pastoral Ministries, all of the archdiocese of Boston. Sister Rose Clarisse was buried in Evergreen Cemetery, Marlborough.

Joseph E. Havey. Mrs. White was buried in Holyhood Cemetery, Brookline.

During 46 years of priestly ministry in the diocese of Fall River, the Brookline native served in assignments in Attleboro; Barnstable; Wareham; Dighton and Pocasset. Committal services were private.
