    Father Gerard C. OfBrien, SJ (Aug. 24) in Weston. Funeral Mass celebrated Aug. 27 at Holy Spirit Chapel, Weston for the son of the late Jeremiah and Mary (Madore) OfBrien; and brother of Thomas, and Virginia Cahill, both of Andover. During 56 years of priestly ministry in the Society of Jesus, he served in assignments of Jesuit Northeast US Province; most recently at Boston College. Father OfBrien was buried in the Jesuit Cemetery, Weston, Mass.

    Sister Mary (Melmarie) Gerrior, OP (Aug. 24) in Saint Catharine, Ky. Funeral Mass celebrated Aug. 28 at Sansbury Center Chapel, Saint Catharine, Ky. For the daughter of the late Lawrence and Mary (Grady) Gerrior, and sister of Paul, Lawrence and Jeanne Martin. During 58 of religious life, Sister served in congregational assignments in Toronto, Ont.; Washington, D.C.; Ky.; Ohio; Neb.; R.I.; S. Dak.; Texas; Worcester; and locally at Tewksbury Hospital, Tewksbury; Middleton Counseling Center, Middleton; and Eastern Point Retreat House, Gloucester. Sister Mary was buried in Saint Catharine Motherhouse Cemetery, Saint Catharine, Ky.

Funeral Mass celebrated Aug. 18 at Gate of Heaven Church, South Boston for the son of the late John and Agnes (McGrath) Power and brother of Robert, Braintree. During his priestly ministry he served at Saint Mary of the Assumption, Revere; Saint Peter, Plymouth; Xaverian Brothers High School Westwood; Our Lady Star of the Sea, Marblehead; Salem State University; Saint John the Evangelist, Winthrop; Saint John-Saint Hugh, Roxbury; Most Precious Blood, Dover; Saint James the Great, Wellesley; Saint Philip Neri, Waban; Saint Francis of Assisi, Dracut. Father Power was buried in Blue Hill Cemetery, Braintree.

    Sister Catherine Cotter, DC (Aug. 15) in Albany, N.Y. Funeral Mass celebrated Aug. 22 at DePaul House Chapel, Albany, N.Y. for the daughter of the late Edward and Alice Cotter. During 61 years of religious life, Sister served in congregational assignments, in Md.; Mich.; N.Y.; Penn.; and locally at Nazareth, Jamaica Plain. Sister Catherine was buried in Saint Agnes Cemetery, Menands, N.Y.

Funeral Mass celebrated Aug. 14 at Saint Clare Church, Braintree for the husband of Mary (Donovan) MacDonald; father of Peter, Rehoboth; Marie Brickhouse, Braintree; Paul, Plymouth; David, Chelmsford; Kathleen Farelli, Stoneham; Joanna Clancy, Hingham; and brother of the late Sister Mary (Mary) Rosaire, SC; Sister Mary (Frances) Corona, SC; and Sister Rita Margaret (Rita), SC. During his diaconal ministry, he served at Gate of Heaven, South Boston and Saint Elizabeth, Milton. Deacon MacDonald was buried in Braintree Cemetery, Braintree.

    Brother James T. Curran, LBSF (June 28) in Brockton. Funeral Mass celebrated July 1 at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church, Roxbury for the son of the late James and Anna (Diffley) Curran. He was the founder in 1970 of the Little Brothers of Saint Francis. Brother James was buried in Mount Benedict Cemetery, West Roxbury.

Sister Anna Michael was buried in Saint Patrick Cemetery, Natick.
