  • Msgr. Charles E. Crosby

    Msgr. Charles E. Crosby (May 15) in Manchester, N.H. Funeral Mass celebrated May 20 at Saint Joseph Cathedral, Manchester for the son of the late Harold and Bertha (Kane) Crosby. During almost 60 years of priestly ministry, he served in parish and diocesan assignments in the Manchester diocese and most recently as rector of Saint Patrick Parish, Hampton, N.H. Msgr. Crosby was buried in Saint Joseph Cemetery, Bedford, N.H.

    Father Francis D. Garrity (May 21) in Boston. Funeral Mass celebrated May 26 at Saint John the Evangelist Church, Swampscott for the son of the late William F. and Gertrude (Quinn) Garrity, and brother of Virginia Grayson, Salem. Since his ordination on Feb. 2, 1956, he has served in archdiocesan parishes. Father Garrity was buried in Holy Cross Cemetery, Malden. During 69 years of religious life, Sister served in congregational assignments at Our Lady of Grace, Chelsea; Arlington Catholic, Arlington; Cathedral High, Boston; Mount Saint Joseph Academy, Brighton; Regis College, Weston, and Saint Ann (University) Parish, Boston. Sister Dorothy was buried in Saint Stephen Cemetery, Framingham.
